Workplace Age Discrimination

Age discrimination is found everywhere in daily life. One of the main topics I will cover is age discrimination in a workplace.

Individuals are always discriminated against for their age. A person may not get employeed for a job because of how old or young they are.

Some times employers will discriminate against older individuals for being "too old". But sometimes the older individual will be the ones who have the qualifications for a certain job or who are or will be good at the job they're applying for.

Employers discriminate on young people for being "too young" for a job as a teenager.

Employers may also discriminate against someones age because they don't want to pay an employee too much money as part of their pay. So they will employee teenagers so they can pay them less.

Employers may never see what they're doing but this is against the law when they discriminate against an individuals age in a workplace.
